Gerina-Piller

Her birth date was the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza was her name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She has Mexican origins, however she is American by nationality. As a young girl, she has had a strong need to play sports. Gerina first began to golf when she was fifteen years old. Gerina was able to complete her high school education at Goddard High School. In high school, she took home her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player and competed on the level of state. In 2003 she started her studies in the University of Texas. In her final year, she won each tournament she participated in. During her undergraduate career she was named Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named the UTEP Female Athletics Player of the Year.
