Jenna Fischer's most famous role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. To honor the significance of her performance, she received the Emmy award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role and received 2 SAG Awards.
Her family was based in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was a child who watched her mother Anne performing in church plays. It instilled in her a love for theatre.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, an actress trained in theater, returned to her origins. The Off-Broadway show she starred in was the play Reasons to Be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. She went on to star as the first woman to appear in Steve Martin's latest production Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking show in the Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer launched her own podcast, the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October the year 2019. The podcast quickly was a hit. Every week it ranked within the Top Ten in global downloads which topped 200 million in just its beginning two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her first novel, and describes the path she traveled starting in St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood, where she became an actress professionally. Her second, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography of her closest friend, and their experience working in The Office.
